Upgrading Presentation Server Causes Error 26005 When Using an Oracle Database
Issue : When you are upgrading presentation server you get the following error “Error 26005 When Using an Oracle Database” The IMA Service fails to start during the install. The following can be seen in a Citrix Diagnostic Facility (CDF) trace:

In Presentation Server 4.5, the IMA Service uses the NetworkService account. In previous versions of Presentation Server, the LocalSystem account is used to start the IMA Service.
Resolution For Upgrading Presentation Server Causes Error 26005 When Using an Oracle Database
Provide the NetworkService account with full permissions to the Oracle client folder.
For example, the default installation directory for the Oracle 9i client is
