Cause

The permissions at the license file level on the Citrix License Server – version 11.6, must be set to allow writing (write permission) to the license file to update the Port number:

Resolution

1. Check the Permissions on the licenses files:

2. Ensure that the Local Service and System Accounts have permission to write and modify the license files.

3. Verify that the, Allow Inheritable permission from the parent to propagate to this object is selected.

4. Restart all Citrix licensing services after license files permission have been changed.
